Grace
Beside the resisting of temptations, perseverance also implies the accomplishment of one's duty. The constant and strenuous efforts we must put forth in order to fulfil [sic] it will not be made without the power of grace. He alone who has begun in us the good work of perfection can bring it to a happy close. Only he who has called us unto His eternal glory can perfect and confirm and establish us.
